After 3 years of research & development - in January 2025, the Kent Rock Recycling Shed received its first certification for its remarkable environmental stewardship and effective participation in the 2024/2025 edition of the Temvelo Awards.

The Kent Rock Recycling Shed continues to see the value of social media for information dissemination and literature review: by following relevant companies and organizations - the Kent Rock Recycling Shed is able to click through the links to take advantage of opportunities such as the Temvelo Awards, calls for applications for grants, and other financially & technically rewarding initiatives in recognition of innovative waste management practices and achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.

In the same month of January - the Kent Rock Recycling Shed also managed to complete an online application with the Youth Enterprise Revolving Fund requesting financial support for its small business unit – where the Kent Rock Recycling Shed has identified ESwatini College of Technology’s Tuck Shop and a Spaza Shop in Msunduza as applicable investment vehicles [to satisfy ESwatini Environment Authority’s Waste Management Innovation Challenge’s requirement to run a small business as the solution helps ESwatini deal with its waste management challenge while generating income].

Throughout the festive season, and throughout the month of January, the Kent Rock Recycling Shed gathered and took advantage of 3 opportunities to raise awareness about its solution and scale-up operations: Best Diplomats - an organization that trains individuals, teams, and organizations in diplomacy, negotiation, and leadership skills; World Bank Group Youth Summit

2025 - the World Bank Group's largest annual event for youth (ages 18-35) worldwide; and the timbuktoo MineTech Accelerator Programme - a transformative initiative of the timbuktoo MineTech Hub designed to drive innovation in mining technology, empower start-ups, and scale

transformative technologies in the African mining sector.

The Kent Rock Recycling Shed is currently not collecting, storing, and supplying the market with substantial barcoded items from waste material to register its proposed company and develop its mobile app and website to monetize its solution: as a result - the Kent Rock Recycling Shed’s resolution is to take advantage of every opportunity to obtain financial & technical support offered by the market.
